Public bug reported:
I upgraded from Gutsy to Hardy Heron. Apache2 now doesn't appear to
start. I was serving gallery2 from it.
When apache2 is being started there are no errors generated but I cannot find any apache2 processes running and "sudo apache2ctl stop" produces: "httpd (no pid file) not running". Also Apache2s error log hasn't been updated since the upgrade. "sudo apache2ctl start" produces no errors either. "netstat -l" shows no port 80 being listened on either. daemon.log doesn't show apache either!
Someone reported a while ago that apache2-mpm-worker was now needed in Hardy, but when I try to install it, it tries to uninstall php5, which I'm using for gallery2.
Strangely webmin is still working (on port 10000).
