DO :
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
sudo apt-get install samba libpam-smbpass

verify that your are in the group named sambashare. In terminal type
"groups" if not go to user.group management and yourself to this group
(samba share)

after that, logout and login

Create a dire named "test" on your desktop and try to share it
