A security issue affects these releases of Ubuntu and its derivatives:

Summary:

Several security issues were fixed in LuaJIT.

Software Description:
- luajit: Just-In-Time Compiler for Lua

Details:

It was discovered that LuaJIT incorrectly handled certain inputs. An attacker
could possibly use these issues to cause a crash, resulting in a denial of
service, or execute arbitrary code.

Update instructions:

The problem can be corrected by updating your system to the following
