A security issue affects these releases of Ubuntu and its derivatives:
- Ubuntu 21.04
- Ubuntu 20.10
- Ubuntu 20.04 LTS
Summary:
Eventlet could be made denial of service if it received a specially
crafted request.
Software Description:
- python-eventlet: concurrent networking library
Details:
It was discovered that Eventlet incorrectly handled certain requests.
An attacker could possibly use this issue to cause a denial of service.
Update instructions:
The problem can be corrected by updating your system to the following
package versions:
Ubuntu 21.04:
python3-eventlet 0.30.0-0ubuntu1.1
Ubuntu 20.10:
python3-eventlet 0.26.1-0ubuntu1.1
Ubuntu 20.04 LTS:
python3-eventlet 0.25.1-2ubuntu1.1
In general, a standard system update will make all the necessary changes.
