A security issue affects these releases of Ubuntu and its derivatives:

- Ubuntu 21.04
- Ubuntu 20.04 LTS

Summary:

GPSd could return the wrong time.

Software Description:
- gpsd: Global Positioning System

Details:

It was discovered that GPSd incorrectly handled certain leap second events
which would result in the time jumping back 1024 weeks on 2021-10-31.

Update instructions:

The problem can be corrected by updating your system to the following
package versions:

Ubuntu 21.04:
  gpsd                            3.22-2ubuntu1.2
  libgps28                        3.22-2ubuntu1.2

Ubuntu 20.04 LTS:
  gpsd                            3.20-8ubuntu0.4
  libgps26                        3.20-8ubuntu0.4

In general, a standard system update will make all the necessary changes.
