xapian-core vulnerability

A security issue affects these releases of Ubuntu and its derivatives:

- Ubuntu 18.04 LTS
- Ubuntu 17.10

Summary:

Xapian-core could be made to execute arbitrary code if it
received a specially crafted file.

Software Description:
- xapian-core: Development files for Xapian search engine library

Details:

It was discovered that Xapian-core incorrectly handled certain files.
An attacker could possibly use this to execute arbitrary code.

Update instructions:

The problem can be corrected by updating your system to the following
package versions:

Ubuntu 18.04 LTS:
  libxapian30                     1.4.5-1ubuntu0.1
  xapian-tools                    1.4.5-1ubuntu0.1

Ubuntu 17.10:
  libxapian30                     1.4.4-2ubuntu0.1
  xapian-tools                    1.4.4-2ubuntu0.1

In general, a standard system update will make all the necessary
changes.
