Ubuntu 7.10 не видит флэшку

Вот моя странная проблема

Поставил себе на рабочий компютер Ubuntu 7.10 но в ней не видно флэшку, дома
этаже флэшка спокойна убунтой видна, На этом рабочем компе под виндой и
ранее стоящей мандривой 2007 тоже была видна.

Посоветуйте пожалуйста что делать?
sudo fdisk -l   не видит
