Ok, I actually do not like the idea of this being a subproject. Subprojects are not well represented in cdimage, and it's really really a pain to work with. For instance, if on cdimage you build the ubuntu-core-installer project and then want to build ubuntu-core-installer with the ubuntu-core-desktop subproject, those are handled EXACTLY the same. They do not have a different build tree, there is no different set of artifacts. Subprojects do not work as one would expect.

Was there really a good reason for this?
