[Merge] ~cpete/livecd-rootfs:jammy-ppa-help into livecd-rootfs:ubuntu/jammy

I prepared a PPA [3] with the proposed changes to livecd-rootfs and the version of ubuntu-meta from [1] currently in jammy-proposed. I then used it to perform a test livefs build [4] to confirm the changes work. Please see [5] for an official jammy build, without these changes, for comparison.
