sorry, I gave you some bad advise originally.

- this doesn't do any good because germinate fails to look at the -updates pocket
- if germinate did it wouldn't be needed because then it would already be pulled in as a build-dependency - not as a top-level item we want to seed explicitly.

so I'm wontfix'ing this.
