Review: Needs Fixing

The project used git-buildpackage, as you can tell from the presence of the debian/gbp.conf file.

So in terms of commit messages and d/changelog entries:

1. commit just your code change in its own commit
2. use `gbp dch --commit` to generate and commit the d/changelog entry.

Leave the d/changelog series to UNRELEASED (don't set it to mantic yet). Another fix will land before the upload to Ubuntu is prepared, so it's good to signal that the d/changelog entry is not finalized.

(You could also not add the d/changelog entry at all: the person preparing the upload will run `gbp dch` to generate the new entries. But this way you have more control on what actually ends up in d/changelog for your change. See gbp-dch(1) for more info on how changelog entries are generated from commit messages.)
