Welcome to feedback, this pretty much copies the changes Lukasz did for Ubuntu Budgie but in context for Ubuntu Studio. https://snapcraft.io/ubuntustudio-system-installer already exists and while the changes are incomplete to it, we can at least get builds going, unless I'm missing something else.

To be honest, there has been very little guidance here.
