No real reason other than other arches/subarches (armhf, generic) already were bumped up to this size. Not sure if that's something that's worthwhile to write down :-)

Base images aren't running out of space yet. Base images have fewer packages installed, so that shouldn't be surprising. Same disk-image-uefi.ext4 artifact is reused for different clouds.
