[Merge] livecd-rootfs:xnox/lazy-modules into livecd-rootfs:ubuntu/master

This seems like a workaround for a kernel bug.  Why is anything holding a reference to /usr/lib/modules on the VFS?  The kernel shouldn't be relying on the original file once the module has been loaded into memory, should it?  (And what else would be holding open an fd to this mountpoint, which really has no other content of interest)
