Yeah you were right to ask, this isn't the right base.
Trusty was never imported so far.

I made it available now (for next time you fix something there) and rebased your fix there.
It essentially is your debdiff split in two commits and checked/reviewed.
Since this is where it all started and most tested that is likely good (and IIRC what you eventually want to actually fix)

There is also another fix by Mario in already from June.
So I rebase all this for you, but you have to test the build - I'll ping you then.
