this is true, works for me and should point to the right direction where
the actual bug might be.
from wild guessing: if checked "All users can connect with this network"
network manager will avoid to use the stored PIN in /etc/NetworkManager.
So, the quetsion standing is: why isn't it using the PIN stored in
gnome-keyring, if available.
Then again, the workaround mentioned by themroc should be sufficient for
almost all use cases of this hardware (where does one really need
multiple users on a mobile machine being able to use the same UMTS
connection, where at the same time it is impossible to add that same
connection for each user once ..?)
