When KCI does manage to auto-update symbols itself, that is the format it uses. Need to know when they were introduced, but KCI builds are versioned as the latest released to archive version + git revision, rather than upstream version they may actually be, so the +git%date tells you when that symbol was added, from the buildlogs at least.
