Yes, the testcase passed for lvm with this fix. (http://d-jenkins.ubuntu-ci:8080/job/psivaa-wily-server-i386-smoke-lvm/7/console if you can access) 
But, trusty  passing without the fix is worrying and therefore the testcase fix should be reverted for further investigation. I've now enabled DEBUG as you requested and reverted the testcase fix.
