[Merge] lp:~bfiller/mediaplayer-app/fix-138769 into lp:mediaplayer-app

After discussion with Pat, the consensus was to go with this solution for ota5 as it's been requested by the customer for a while. While it's not perfect, it's better than what we have today and if the user pins the mediaplayer to the launcher then they will get the same error message they get today. 

We should get the url-dispatcher overlay and required media-hub work into a silo and tested and can switch to this solution when it's ready.
