Yes what you mentioned the URL is calling the same content provider, 
seems that this is the defect of our webbrowser indeed, 
I can look into the file you provided to give it a fix.

But now the problem is, 
how to build it?
I meet a problem that no "qquickitem_p.h" not found, 
do you have the manual of wiki for webbrowser to let me refer, 
so that I can verified it.

My Qt version is 5.4.
