About the bug #1442190, it also happens to Top Sites. If we have 10 top sites and remove one, it will display only 9. The model seems correct, since when we open a new tab the correct values are displayed. I spend some time checking limit-proxy-model which resulted in a new unit test. The model is emitting a dataChanged and not emitting a rowRemoved but with a different result on the ui. Needs further investigation about the cause of the issue.
