Public bug reported:

"Friends" is an app stated to integrate well with all social clients, but I have yet to see anything from my Google+ account pop up. I am logged into my Google Account via the System Settings, but I still keep running into this issue that Google+ doesn't seem to be recognized.
Please add Google+ support or make a statement in the app itself what services are and aren't compatible with the new Friends app.
