Actually, it looks like the current branch was sponsored by Luke as is!

The issues I pointed out are there, but I agree those are polishing type of issues so it's just best to keep on mind for the next release. The bug about master branch could have been also mentioned in the changelog for automatic closure and documentation, but it's too late for that now.
