I uploaded this to utopic.  Thanks so much!

However, this branch targets the trusty branch, but I'm not sure this meets criteria for an SRU (see https://wiki.ubuntu.com/StableReleaseUpdates).

Maybe I just don't understand the extent of the impact to users.  If you think it should still be an SRU for trusty, can you explain the impact a bit more?  Else I think this branch should be closed.
