Version 1.0.2-12 from Debian introduces a new bug:

I do not know if it is better to wait for segfaults on amd64 to be solved in debian before doing merge with Debian. 

If you consider that is OK to merge with Debian in this condition, I will make this merge and I try to resolve this in new ubuntu patch.
