Some additional background:

VMWare is now going to support the package and these changes came out discussion with them.  The kernel drivers are no longer supported, fedora has removed them as well.  So we're matching that which results in the dkms package going away.  Then there are the man pages being removed because they belong to things removed with this or previously removed
