Review: Needs Fixing

The patch "works" but upstream said it's the wrong approch. We are not going to take a patch that is not technically right, that has a maitainance cost and can create problems, using multiple xserver is not a common case as well (so we are less likely to accept a runtime cost for most users only to benefit an uncommon scenario)
