[Merge] lp:~james-page/ubuntu/natty/jansi/fix-697147 into lp:ubuntu/jansi

Stefano - this change has not yet been uploaded/released in Debian, hence we can't sync to Ubuntu at this point in time.  My plan was to apply in Ubuntu to allow the MIR to proceed and then sync once the Debian version of the package had caught up at some point in the future.
