Fix for #651049 - created patch of diff in http://svn.php.net/viewvc/?view=revision&revision=295773 for PHP_5_3 branch and applied it to the php5.3 package.

Patch has been tested and is working as expected.

This is my first attempt at backporting a bugfix so please let me know if there's anything that I've done incorrectly =)
