My branches parent branch is set to the right one:

  parent branch: http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~ubuntu-core-dev/ubuntu/natty/apport/ubuntu/

But when you propose a branch for merging Launchpad suggests lp:ubuntu/apport which I'd figured was the same as my parent branch.
