This seems fine in general, but your merge proposal targets merging into maverick, and your changelog entry references lucid. Now that maverick has been released, changes should only be made if there is an active problem (see our http://wiki.ubuntu.com/StableReleaseUpdates process).

However, it sounds like this particular issue is mostly one of cleanup.

Either way, this fix should go into the current development release ("natty") before we would consider applying the fix in either lucid or maverick. Can you make sure your merge proposal is based off of the natty branch (lp:ubuntu/codebocks), targetted for merge to the natty branch, and has a changelog entry referencing natty?
