We, as the Ubuntu project, are very likely to participate in this year's
Google Summer of Code. We will need to be registered by the 12th of
March. What we need until then is a list of ideas (also a brief
description) and the mentors
willing to volunteer.

The time past Feature Freeze is probably a good time to evaluate which
features were postponed or might be separated out and make a nice
project for a student in the summer, so we can include it in Ubuntu
10.10.

Please mail me the following information:

 - title and brief description (two sentences) for your idea(s)
 - are you willing to mentor? (*)
 - your timezone, a backup contact if you're on holidays

(*) If you're willing to mentor, please allow for 4~5h/week for
reviewing code, mentoring, discussing, writing the report, etc.

Also would it be nice if you could list community members you trust (and
their mail addresses) who you think could mentor as well.

Our application depends all on the number of people who are willing to
mentor, so please sign up and help make this a success!

Thanks a lot in advance!
