For those that always need an onscreen keyboard, they can make onboard
automatically start at login by activating it in the Assistive
Technology control panel. (However, this does not solve the problem
about how to restart onboard after the user has quitted it.)

By the way, onboard can also be started during login by activating in in
the control panel available at login.
