I was under the impression that 5.4 would be supported throughout the 5 year life span of Focal as long as either 20.04 or 20.04.1 media was used for installation. Seems like that had been the plan:</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><a href="https://ubuntu.com/kernel/lifecycle" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">https://ubuntu.com/kernel/lifecycle</a><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">Even though I encountered some Broadcom wifi problems with the two 5.8 updates in the past four days that was easily sorted. My primary concern is what the plan is for Focal going forward.
