Given the lack of new PowerPC desktop hardware, my personal interest
with my community hat on is in Ubuntu Server on PowerPC, and I don't
much care about the desktop. This isn't to say that I don't want to
keep as much of the archive buildable on PPC as we can, just that I
don't think we need Ubuntu Desktop images on PPC right now.

If the situation changes and someone starts producing new PowerPC
desktop kit again, I'd happily revisit this but, until such a time,
my real concern is d-i netboot and Ubuntu Server images for IBM and
Servergy server kit.

None of the above affects lubuntu, of course, who intentionally
target low end hardware, and their stuff should continue to function
on old G4/G5 Macs, at least once we've sorted out some recent kernel
woes.
