I think you know where I stand on this.

That said I'll need the approval of the Xubuntu Team as a whole to make 
it an official point.

Personally however I would prefer a system where:

 1. Flavour decides their iso is in a state suitable for testing.
 2. Flavour has ability to turn it's iso build off.
 3. Flavour does it's testing
 4. Flavour turns it's iso build on.

That however obviously would need input from the Canonical Release Team etc.
