Oh, and before anyone asks, the lack of powerpc desktop images for
Lubuntu and Ubuntu MATE is intentional. There's no powerpc HWE
kernel (due to the impending removal of PPC from zesty, and not
wanting to leave people on an unsupported 4.8 kernel when the other
arches roll forward), so I decided the technical burden in producing
powerpc images that differ from the other arches isn't worth it.

PPC users can, of course, install with .0 or .1 media and upgrade,
and they will be on .2, just without an HWE stack (ie: they'll be on
a 4.4 kernel which will continue to get support for the full LTS).

Also, less surprisingly, just as we did with precise and trusty, no
Lubuntu Alternate images will be produced for the HWE point releases,
as getting the installation right there is rather tricky, and the
intersection of "people who need the alternate installer because they
have low-spec hardware" and "people who need the HWE stack" is an
empty set.
