I've updated the skeleton of
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/PrecisePangolin/ReleaseNotes for 12.04.2.
Please could flavour leads make any necessary updates to their subpages?
As a general rule, you don't need to remove information about changes
which were in 12.04 or 12.04.1; assume that your audience is people
upgrading from 11.10 or 10.04 as appropriate. I will be preparing a
separate detailed change summary listing all the substantive changes
between 12.04.1 and 12.04.2, so you don't need to duplicate that work.
However, it would make sense to list major feature backports or changes
that may affect compatibility: for example, we should have release note
items for the backports of secure boot and the enablement kernel/X.org
stack.
Thanks,
