* looking into branding for the ubuntu studio live dvd
* hopefully finally fixing the application menu transparency

a single, but highly important, issue.

the person who has been responsible for developing and maintaining the
lowlatency kernel is reporting that he and his work are not being
respected, typified by several gross changes to his kernel work
without discussion, coordination, or notification.

he feels very upset and has quit the ubuntu studio kernel team.

as both the lowlatency kernel and it's original maintainer are
critical to the performance of ubuntu studio and the team, i am
troubled and vexed by the situation.

i believe it paramount to find a palatable solution.  therefore,
continued discussions and/or advice towards a resolution would be most
welcome.
