TL;DR of the bugs below, two are unfixed as yet but likely fixable, one
remains under investigation, one is no longer reproducible, two have
outstanding testing requests, two have probabal fixes identified and
await testing, and the remaining four are expected to already be fixed
and require retesting.

In the last release-meeting I was asked to review the Precise Blocking
bugs. I have reviewed them and contacted many of the owners for status
updates. Below is a quick summary of those discussions with how those
bugs are looking for P.

LP:918769 -- X blink with Vostro 360 and Ubuntu Oneiric and Precise

This has been escalated to Intel for resolution. It is possible
we may be able to work around this in the kernel, Bryce is working
with the reporter to see if they can do something. If this is
positive we may be able to do something for release. Intel are claiming
this should be fixed in 3.3 which would fix this for Q. It is likely
Q is a better target for certification for this platform.

LP:877682 -- [Latitude E6510 / Thinkpad W510/T510] External Video
	     inoperative with nVidia current

It seems that this may be partially fixed from the update on
the bug as the eDP port is now working. VGA appears to still
	under investigation.

LP:834731 -- Dell PowerEdge R810 fails to mount file system at /dev/sda1

This one does not appear to be reproducible. We are very unlikely
to be able to debug or fix this issue.	I would suggest we close
	it out unproducible.

LP:714862 -- Atheros AR3011 cannot be turned up/is not recognized

This appears to be a qualcom firmware issue. We have pulled this
updated firmware into Precise (on the 22nd) and it should be in
the Beta2 images. This needs retesting on images after the 22nd
with a view to closing it out.

LP:881566 -- [Latitude E6320] Wifi always hard blocked

Engineer has requested some testing for this bug, but not yet
receieved any testing feedback. Need to get this testing done
	and results into the bug.

LP:882253 -- [Thinkpad E520] SDHC card unable to be mounted

According to the engineer who worked on this one we would expect
all of the patches needed to be in Precise. There may be a
patch outstanding in Oneiric. This needs retesting with a view
	to closing it out.

LP:888219 -- [ThinkPad E420] Wifi is always soft blocked

There are fixes in development. Engineer has requested testing.
This needs the testing performed and the results put in the bug.

LP:926136 -- CPU1 on Dell PowerEdge M610, R715 and IBM X3500 M3 goes
             offline after exercising frequency governors

Hard to debug as it only occurs when you first boot so testing
replacement kernels does not seem to be possible. Have requested
retest with the latest images and some additional debug from the
	failure case.

LP:876023 -- [Vostro 3550] Wireless appears to be broken

This is suspected to be a hardware issue. To confirm this a
hardware swap has been suggested. This has not yet been done.

LP:826784 -- [ThinkPad Edge E520] Wireless is always soft-blocked

The fixes for this have been submitted to upstream stable and
were in v3.2.12. This was the base point for the 3.2.0-19.31
kernels so we expect this to be fixed for the beta2 images.
Needs retesting with a view to closing it out.

LP:825777 -- Display will not turn on in Oneiric with Llano APUs

According to the engineer this is a bug regarding a backport needed
in oneiric so precise is not expected to be affected. This needs
retesting to confirm it is not present in Precise.

LP:873117 -- Broadcom STA driver from bcmwl-kernel-source should blacklist
             other Broadcom drivers

There appears to be a fix for this. Awaiting application for testing
	by the engineer.
