=== What was done engineering wise? ===
* Pre-tested daily images in preperation for Alpha 2 testing next week. The builds over the last several days have been broken due to archive issues. 2 bugs have been confirmed; nothing critical.
* The QATracker enhancements went live on production
* Testcases are being migrated off thehttp://testcases.qa.ubuntu.com/ wiki onto the QATracker. Newhttps://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-testcase <https://launchpad.net/%7Eubuntu-testcase> team forming to help deal with maintaining and migrating tests.
* Met with ubuntu flavors teams (and community) to discuss QA best practices and collaboration. UTAH was demo'd as well as new testcase management features of the QATracker.
=== What's about to land that might impact the other teams and release as a whole? ===
* Kernel testing 12.10 on 12.04 will migrate to production tracker from the temporary home on the staging site.
* Ubuntu Devel Discussion Thread on release timings; Ubuntu QA Community will be altering cadence of testing to every 2 weeks (this shouldn't impact milestone testing)
* Meeting with HEXR team to discuss requirements document for community hardware database
=== Summary of bugs working on by team (reasonably reliable) ===
* Cannot select gtk dropdown list value in multiple applications: ubiquity, landscape clienthttps://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gtk3-engines-unico/+bug/1015497
* This appears to be a potential regression, with far reaching ramifications
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/qt4-x11/+bug/1005677
* The community is having trouble understanding how the archive and packages are changing without being able to see what's changing in the changelogs, due to a server issue
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1001609 <https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gtk3-engines-unico/+bug/1015497>
=== Dependencies on other teams to make deliverables, blocking items, release wide concerns? ===
* Community Unity testing process is still being finalized; needs to fit into the new structure
Thanks,
Nicholas
