Perception of Quality this cycle

I was curious to gather feedback from the release team as a whole on
your perception of the quality this cycle. Metrics aside, how has this
cycle fared in your eyes in regards to quality? This is a twofold
question. How do you feel about the milestone release quality? Secondly,
how do you feel about the daily archive and state of quality in the
quantal desktop?

I've left the questions broad to gather opinions. Quickly, I'll give you
my opinion that the daily quality has been good; not quite up to par as
precise (when honestly it didn't even feel like a development version
for most of the cycle) but much better than in times past. I've
encountered some good bugs which have been fixed (or at least noted in
lp!), but nothing showstopping or preventing me from working. The
biggest detriment to usability was apport not working for several weeks,
not allowing me to report crashes and bugs I was encountering. The
milestone quality is a bit harder to diagnose. In some ways, it's better
and we've avoided respins. In other ways, I get the feeling folks are
quite uncomfortable with the releases.

Thoughts?

Nicholas
