  * HUD landed in Unity trunk, ready for the release freeze next week 
(2D & 3D)
  * New integrated menu mode headed for the release next week as well 
(3D, 2D may require an exception)
  * And lots of other bug fixes and interface improvements consolidated 
in the upcoming https://launchpad.net/unity/+milestone/5.4.0 & 
https://launchpad.net/unity-2d/+milestone/5.4 (25 fixes so far)
  * Compiz release sealed by didrocks on Thursday, and being tested as I 
speak

  * Compiz early next week, Unity 5.4 for Thursday
