There are 2 bugs that IMO are important and haven't seen on other reports:
* Bug:1042211 - [quantal] [regression] [i915] Corrupted display, desktop 
and menus don't repaint correctly using Mesa 9.0 (8.0.4 works)
* Bug:1005677 - Re-emergence of "Gtk-CRITICAL **: 
IA__gtk_widget_style_get: assertion `GTK_IS_WIDGET (widget)'"
