Hi all,

the update from the Platform QA Team enclosed:

=== Release Testing ===

==== Quantal Testing ====
*Builds*
http://reports.qa.ubuntu.com/reports/isotesting/builds/quantal.html

No builds were produced for Core i386 from the 2012-08-05 till the
2012-08-08.

No builds for Desktop i386 on 2012-08-05 till 2012-08-07.

*Testing*
https://jenkins.qa.ubuntu.com/view/Quantal
* Installer:
- Desktop:
   - No new issue found this week. Some tests failed due to the i386
builder being down.

- Alternate:
   - No new issue found this week.

- Server:
   - No new issue found this week.
     Existing bug: [Bug 1028453] Quantal Ubuntu Server minimal install
oversized

* Upgrades:
   - No new issue found this week. Some tests failed due to an update to
the test script and has been fixed.

   Existing bug: [Bug 1022927] Upgrade tests failed: obsolete files
left after the upgrade

==== Precise Testing ====
*Builds*
http://reports.qa.ubuntu.com/reports/isotesting/builds/precise.html

Same problems with the i386 builds as Quantal.

*Testing*
https://jenkins.qa.ubuntu.com/view/Precise/
* Installer
- No new issues found.

* Upgrades:
- Some tests failed due an update to the test script. More "obsolete
files left" issues were reported, and should be fixed as soon as the
developers have some time, they leave users systems untidy and are bad
practice (and easy to fix)

  Existing bugs:
  [Bug 1022927] Upgrade tests failed: obsolete files left after the upgrade
  [Bug 1034824] Oneiric to precise upgrade leaves obsolete configuration
file: /etc/bind/named.conf.options
  [Bug 1034829] Oneiric to Precise upgrade leaves obsolete configuration
file: /etc/X11/Xsession.d/52libcanberra-gtk-module_add-to-gtk-modules
  [Bug 1034830] Oneiric to Precise upgrade leaves obsolete configuration
file: /etc/X11/Xsession.d/52libcanberra-gtk3-module_add-to-gtk-modules
  [Bug 1034832] Oneiric to Precise upgrade leaves obsolete configuration
file: /etc/lightdm/unity-greeter.conf

We are working on the verification of:
[Bug 1029531] cdromupgrade from Lucid to Precise failed with unmet
dependencies without network connection

=== What was done engineering wise? ===

Continued with UTAH improvements and bootspeed testing migration.

=== What's about to land that might impact the other teams and release
as a whole? ===

Bootspeed testing already migrated, we are investigating some timing
issues we are witnessing and trying to discard environmental problems.
We are in the process of populating the database with old data as well,
so that we can compare results easily.

=== Summary of bugs working on by team (reasonably reliable) ===

http://reports.qa.ubuntu.com/reports/qa/qa-open-bugs-quantal.html
http://reports.qa.ubuntu.com/reports/qa/qa-open-bugs.html

=== Dependencies on other teams to make deliverables, blocking items,
release wide concerns? ===

None apart from the known issue of builds taking too long and making the
testing cycle at milestones slow.

=== Team Status ===

Thanks,
Gema
