Hm, we discussed that yesterday and considered a major upgrade (1.2 ->
1.4) of such an essential system component as too dangerous at this
time. In fact Sebastien already asked about it around beta, where we
discarded the update because it was too late.

What were the reasons for accepting this now, at the last minute,
without even a milestoned bug?
