I can see the point, but it should be easy enough to reverse the
decision if more information about the impact of the bug becomes
available or if the decision was wrong. I would have thought that I
could have done that, being a member of ~ubuntu-bugcontrol and
~ubuntu-dev. It might be because I had been used to being able to do
this through membership of ~ubuntu-drivers but that team seems to have
changed structure recently and I'm no longer in it.

I hope that I did so politely, although I don't consider this serious
enough to call a mistake - I know that whatever policies and processes
there are, bugs will always slip through the net, that's natural and
it's not a problem. I appreciate it being resolved and am only
labouring this thread slightly in case there is anything that can be
picked up to improve the processes further.
