Dans ce cas là, je vais surement m'orienter vers le XPS 15 de Dell.<br>
<br>
J'ai beau magasiner d'autres appareils de la même catégorie, c'est
souvent plus cher (en version i7) et je remarque que les cartes
vidéos utilisent aussi la technologie OPTIMUS, c'est à dire deux
cartes, une Intel et une Nvidia.<br>
<br>
Quelqu'un peut il me dire si l'utilisation de la carte Intel est
utilisable à tous les jours pour une utilisation d'entreprise ? En
gros, à cause d'OPTIMUS, on est contraint d'utiliser la carte Intel
sous Linux et Nvidia/Intel sous Windows (jeux).<br>

Mais si j'utilise Intel sous Linux, la seule chose que je perd,
c'est juste la 3D et Compiz ? Dans ce cas là un écran Multi-touch ne
me servira à rien, j'imagine si Compiz je peux pas être activé<br>

Rien ne t'empêche de retourner ton ordinateur s'il ne fait pas

Par contre, si c'est monté en Window$e et que tu partitionnes tout
ça,
il faudra restorer le système windows avant de le retourner.<br>

T'as environ 2 sem pour te décider et c'est pour cette raison
qu'il y a
autant d'ordinateur "repack" moins cher disponible sur le marché.<br>

On y retrouve le problème avec la carte nvidia OPTIMUS qui
active ou
non les fonctions 3D au moment ou le système en a besoin. Ca

sous Windows, mais ne semble pas être supporté avec les drivers
Linux.
C'est comme si le système voyait deux cartes et le driver de
nvidia se
sait pas gérer deux cartes.<br>

Faudrait me confirmer que ce bidule de OPTIMUS peut être
désactivé, si
c'est le cas (via le bios) alors ca m'irait, sauf si en échange

batterie est utilisée plus rapidement que possible.<br>

Il semblerait que OPTIMUS ne soit pas prévu dans les futures
versions
des drivers nvidia<br>

Bref, le DELL XPS 15 n'est pas le meilleur ordi pour Linux.
J'étais
tenté j'avoue par un ordinateur sur lequel je pourrais m'adonner
de
temps en temps aux jeux sous Windows et cette machine semblait
remplir
le défi en plus de celui d'être utilisé comme un ordi de bureau.<br>
