Effectivement, c'est pour cela que j'ai regardé tout de suite du
coté de Dell et que je vais aussi regarder du coté de Lenovo. Ces
deux constructeurs sont quand même réputé pour offrir des
ordinateurs plutôt compatible avec Linux et d'après ce que j'ai vu
offrant du support aussi sur le matériel.<br>
<br>
Reste toutefois le prix, un ordinateur "Business" est plus cher mais
comparativement avec un modèle grand public, on a des machines moins
performantes (i5 avec 3Go de mémoire contre i7 avec 6Go de mémoire
par exemple), c'est toujours moins tentant.<br>

que certaines dataient effectivement, je les ai incluses pour
que tu soit au fait de l'existence de la ressource, à
actualiser. Hardware4Linux semblait mise à jour.<br>

J'imagine que tu connais les site colligeant des rapports
d'appréciation comme AlaTest, Cnet et Laptop Review. Ils
peuvent être utiles pour évaluer la qualité générale, à nuance
près qu'aucuns de ces site n'oserait dévaloriser franchement
(tuer) un mauvais produit.<br>

Une très brève recherche sur le DELL XPS 15 m'indique qu'il
s'agit d'un ordinateur dominant par la rapidité des
performances graphiques et la qualité du son (pour le jeu). <i>Si
tu dois compter sur un ordinateur pour le travail, je te
recommande cependant de porter une attention prépondérante à
la durabilité ou plutôt, à la destination de l'ordinateur.
Plus précisément, de considérer un laptop de catégorie
Affaires (business lines)</i>, désignant plus exactement un
assemblage modulaire (réparable) de composantes répondant à
l'origine un barème de durabilité plus élevé. Par exemple, la
série Lattitude de Dell, ou Thinkpad de Lenovo. Ces machines
sont toutefois plus chères que les ordinateurs domestiques,
bien que le xps15 semble dispendieux. Il est courrant de
trouver des thinkpad ayant 10 ans d'âge et fonctionnant très
bien. <br>
<br>
<i>Je te suggère de porter une attention particulière à la
qualité du chassis</i>. c'est-à-dire sa résistance à la
flexion, qu'elle soit causée par torsion (causée par la tenue
de l'ordinateur par un coin, une chute ou, plus
vraissemblablement, la chaleur du processeur). La flexion du
chassis induit un stress sur les soudures des processeurs, qui
tendent à rompre au fil des mois. Pour ces raisons, les
ordinateurs d'affaires ont souvent un chassis en magnésium ou
en fibre de carbonne. La justesse de la provision pour
dialtation thermique (composantes sur glissières, joints
flexibles, etc) est un gage de fiabilité, tout comme,
évidemment, la qualité du mécanisme de dissipation thermique
et, de toute évidence, la propension du processeur à chauffer
ou non.<br>
<br>
Ces propriétés peuvent ne pas être comprises dans la fiche
technique d'ordinateurs domestiques. Je te recommande de
discuter avec un technicien, en plus d'un vendeur.<br>

ne fait pas
l'affaire!!!<br>

Par contre, si c'est monté en Window$e et que tu
partitionnes tout ça,
il faudra restorer le système windows avant de le
retourner.<br>

T'as environ 2 sem pour te décider et c'est pour
cette raison qu'il y a
autant d'ordinateur "repack" moins cher disponible
sur le marché.<br>

On y retrouve le problème avec la carte nvidia
OPTIMUS qui active ou
non les fonctions 3D au moment ou le système
en a besoin. Ca marche
sous Windows, mais ne semble pas être supporté
avec les drivers Linux.
C'est comme si le système voyait deux cartes
et le driver de nvidia se
sait pas gérer deux cartes.<br>

peut être désactivé, si

dans les futures versions
des drivers nvidia<br>

Bref, le DELL XPS 15 n'est pas le meilleur
ordi pour Linux. J'étais
tenté j'avoue par un ordinateur sur lequel je
pourrais m'adonner de
temps en temps aux jeux sous Windows et cette
machine semblait remplir
le défi en plus de celui d'être utilisé comme
un ordi de bureau.<br>
