Rencontre informelle des membres d'Ubuntu-QC, à l'occasion du
lancement d'Ubuntu 10.10 « Maverick Meerkat »
Ubuntu-QC invite tous ceux qui attendent avec impatience la sortie de
la nouvelle version (10.10) de la célèbre distribution Linux Ubuntu à
venir fraterniser:

Ces rencontres sont devenues une tradition au sein de l'univers des
utilisateurs d'Ubuntu. On salue entre amis et utilisateurs l'arrivée
des nouvelles versions de la distribution. Pour tous les détails et

La plupart des employés de Canonical du bureau de Montréal ainsi que
d'autres en visite sont habituellement de la partie, en plus de
clients et partenaires. C'est donc une excellente occasion de
réseauter et trouver/offrir de nouvelles opportunités d'affaires et
d'emploi.

Ubuntu est une distribution Linux basée sur Debian et propose un
système convivial et ergonomique. Son fondateur, Mark Shuttleworth, a
promis qu'elle restera libre et gratuite, y compris pour les
entreprises. Le mot Ubuntu est un mot bantou qui signifie « Je suis ce
que je suis grâce à ce que nous sommes tous ». Une invitation à vous
joindre à Ubuntu-QC pour cette petite soirée improvisée.

Pas besoin d'utiliser Ubuntu ou même Linux pour y participer, les
curieux autant que les utilisateurs et les experts sont invités à
fraterniser et à échanger sur les logiciels libres.

Most of Canonical employees at the Montreal office and others visiting
from abroad usually join us, as well as customers and partners. It's
an excellent opportunity to network and find/offer new business and
job opportunities.

Ubuntu is a community developed operating system that is perfect for
laptops, desktops and servers. Mark Shuttleworth, its founder, has
pledged it will remain free of use, forever, including for business
use. Ubuntu is an African word meaning 'Humanity to others', or 'I am
what I am because of who we all are'. The Ubuntu distribution brings
the spirit of Ubuntu to the software world.

This event is open to users of any OS, distribution, or language. New
users will have the opportunity to meet and speak with veterans. It's
